Sophie Foster has always known she was different. As a telepath with photographic memory, Life has always been different. She is an 11 year old in a class with highschool kids. On A field trip to the natural history museum, she meets Fitz who can read minds just like her. Together they travel to the world of elves where she sees people with abilities like her.

I can't really tell you anything more without spoiling the series, but it is truly a great series. 5/5 stars, would not recommend for kids 1-8 because it has a complicated storyline and some kissing.
